Hi, I’m the reader behind The Cozy Chapter.
If you’ve ever stayed up way too late to finish just one more chapter (or five), you’re in the right place. Books have always been more than a hobby for me; they’re my escape, my comfort, and honestly, my favorite way to ignore the real world for a while. I have a soft spot for happy little romances, especially the ones that keep things sweet and subtle, more on the “closed door” side. There’s just something so comforting about that kind of love story.
Nothing makes me happier than curling up in the corner spot on my couch with my purple queen-sized fuzzy blanket, putting on coffeehouse acoustic music, and zoning out with a good book. If you hear me gasp or react with my face while reading, that’s just me fully living in the story, and sometimes it confuses my husband when he walks in and doesn’t realize I’m reading!
Crafting has been a part of me from an early age. My dad is super crafty, and I guess that trait got passed down. Believe it or not, I once replicated a life-size “O” project that was created by sculptors in my hometown, and it earned me a state fair ribbon! Making things with my hands has always brought me joy and peace.
So, it only felt natural to combine my love for books and crafting into The Cozy Chapter. What started as a quiet idea quickly turned into something I couldn’t stop thinking about, a shop that blends cozy, handcrafted goods with the stories that live rent-free in our minds.
Now my house constantly smells like a mix of Bath & Body Works scents, and honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. My kitchen counters are full of wax pitchers, my desk is covered in sticker scraps, and I’ve probably whispered “this smells like a morally gray love interest” out loud more times than I can count.
At The Cozy Chapter, I hand-pour every candle with care, design every bookish sticker and accessory with intention, and package it all with the same love I have for the stories that inspired them. These are items made by a reader, for readers: people who find magic in pages and comfort in cozy things.
